A woman near Henley has been targeted by two men who called at her house at midnight asking for her bank cards.

The 89 year old agreed to hand them over - after receiving a call from someone who claimed to be from the police at around midnight on 15 September 2013.

The caller told the woman that her bank details had been obtained by criminals and advised her to hang up and call her bank. The victim did this, but the offender had not disconnected the call meaning she continued to speak to him and provided her bank details.

The offender then persuaded the victim to put her three bank cards and some jewellery in an envelope. The caller kept the victim on the phone while a second offender attended the victim?s address in Hambleden to collect the envelope, with the bank cards then used the same day in the Henley area.

Heart's been given an e-fit of the offender (see picture)who collected the bank cards and jewellery. He was dressed in a dark suit. An e-fit of the suspect is attached.
