Maidenhead's May Joins Race To Be PM

Maidenhead MP, Theresa May has announced she's joined the race to become the next leader of the Conservatives.

Writing in the Times, the Home Secretary says Britain needs "strong, proven leadership" to steer us through the uncertainty of leaving the EU.

Adding, she'll strive to make Britain a country for everyone.

Yesterday work and pensions secretary Stephen Crabb put himself up for nomination and former Henley MP Boris Johnson remains one of the favourites.
