Man Kicked In Head On Reading Bridge

A man has been kicked in the head several times on a bridge in Reading.

It happened on the Christchurch one at about 9.30pm last night.

The 33-year-old had to be taken to hospital for his injuries.

Police say they don't believe it was a random attack and they want to talk to anyone who saw what happened.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Amy Hickman-Holden said: "We believe the victim was helped by several members of the public while he was on the floor, unconscious and other members were subjected to verbal abuse from the offender."

The offender is described as a tall mixed race man.

He was 6ft 3ins at least, quite skinny, in his early twenties.

He had tattoos on his hands, which went up his forearms.

He had black hair, with quite a high top and shaved sides.

He was wearing black jeans and a dark green jumper with a big circular pattern on the back and long sleeves.
