Murder Investigation in Oxford

A woman has been charged with the murder of another woman who was found stabbed in her home in Oxford.

Kauthar Silvera, 29, of Friars Wharf in the city will appear before Oxford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Thames Valley Police say the 52-year-old victim, whose body was found at an address in Friars Wharf on Thursday 16 August, has not yet been formally identified.

A post-mortem examination found the cause of death was a stab wound.

The 52-year-old is thought to be Vittoria Baker, but her body has not been officially identified.
