The bus is starting a journey around Buckinghamshire today, driving to areas where young people don't have easy access to youth services.

It boasts three Apple Mac computers complete with internet access and music production software, DJ digital turntables, a chill-out area with a flat screen TV, games consoles, a coffee bar area with hot and cold drinks and an external screen for watching films and playing computer games outside the bus.

Also on-board is a one-to-one space where young people can get confidential advice and support on a range of issues, including education, employment and training, sexual health and relationships and alcohol and drug misuse.

A group of young people has been integral to the successful funding of this project.

Eight young people worked together to compile a funding application to the Youth Opportunity Fund and then worked on creating a presentation on their vision for the bus.
