A Mum from Berkshire has been telling Heart of her terror when her baby became stressed during labour.
Natasha Hester had been giving birth at Wexham Park Hospital in Slough when her daughter, struggled for oxygen.
Aubrey had to be transferred to the John Radcliffe Special Care Baby Unit to be put on a special cooling mat.
The cooling mat stops any further damage to the brain but cannot repair any damage there may already be.
Fortunately, Aubree’s MRI came back all clear.
Natasha tells Heart, "without this mat, the outcome would have been completely different, but that doesn’t bear thinking about."
She's raising money for the SCBU at the John Radcliffe - you can find out more here.
