An e-fit image has been released of a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault in Oxford in the early hours of 9 October.

At about 4.30am, a woman was asleep in a property in James Street when she awoke to find a man in the room with her.

He kissed her and when she shouted out, he left the building through a window.

Thames Valley Police is releasing an e-fit in relation to these incidents.

The man in the image is black or mixed race, around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins , of a lean build and with dark short hair, and in his early to mid twenties.

During the first offence he was wearing dark trousers and a grey plaid lumberjack-style shirt.

During the second incident he was wearing dark blue jeans, a long sleeved black and white shirt.

“I urge anyone who saw a man in the e-fit or matching the description to contact police immediately, or call Crimestoppers.”
