Oxford Mum Backs Teacher's Strike

A Mum from Oxford tells Heart she's noticed the workload is causing school staff to become more and more stressed.

Teachers across England are staging a 24 hour strike today in protest over what they're calling "damaging" education funding cuts.

The walkout by the profession's biggest union, the National Union of Teachers has closed and disrupted schools across the country.

The Government says the action is harmful to children's education and damaging to the reputation of the profession.

But, Sushila Dhall who's a Mum from Oxford disagrees.
