Oxford: Two Men Stabbed

Two men have been stabbed at a property in Oxford.

Police were called shortly after 7.30pm yesterday (25/8) to The Oval, Rose Hill.

A man, aged 18, sustained a puncture wound to his chest and a man, aged 22, sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds to his chest and back.

The injuries of both men are not believed to be life-threatening and both were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Det Insp Louise Roddy said: “I am appealing for witnesses who saw what happened or who may have seen people running away from The Oval at around the time of the incident to speak to police. It is believed the victims were known to the offender.

“Police take incidents of this nature seriously and detectives are currently working to establish the circumstances of what happened. Officers have been carrying out house-to-house enquiries in the area and anyone with any concerns can approach an officer.”

If you have any information about the incident or saw what happened please contact Det Insp Roddy via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
