Peter Andre in the Thames Valley

Peter Andre's helping a Thames Valley town get its carnival sorted.

In recent years Thame's carnival has been failing, with only two floats in it last year and wheelbarrows being used instead.
So organisers of the Oxfordshire event have asked Peter to help recruit as part of his new TV show. He now wants people to get involved and revive the event.

Peter's been telling Heart Thames Valley: "Thame's carnival has become tame." He says his challenge now is to put it back on the map. "We want to make this party rock again."

This year's theme is Mardi Gras and is taking place this Saturday (18th June) at Southern Road Recreation Ground. They want dancers, steel bands, acrobats or entertainers to put on float to get in touch.
