Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate the death of a man following a shooting in Colnbrook near Slough on Monday
The victim, a 48-year-old man from Slough, has been formally identified as Wayne Digby. Following a Post-Mortem the cause of death has been given as a shotgun wound to the abdomen.
A 72-year-old local man, who was arrested at the scene on Monday on suspicion of murder, has been released on police bail until 11 July while the investigation continues.
A 54-year-old woman, who was also arrested at the scene on Monday on suspicion of murder, has been released without charge.
A third person arrested in connection with this incident has been charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary.
Anthony ‘Tony’ Hearn, aged 48, from Moreland Close, Colnbrook, was charged with the offence earlier today (15/6) and is due to appear at Slough Magistrates’ Court today (15/6).
Local residents in the Colnbrook area are advised that police officers will remain on the scene for some time as they continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with any information or concerns is asked to speak to officers at the scene or call our 24-hour police enquiry centre on 101.
