Vale of White Horse Euromillions Mystery

The cash from a winning Euromillions ticket bought in the Vale of White Horse six months ago is now going to good causes.

The deadline to claim the £159,128,50 prize from July 1st came and went at 11pm last night (28th December).

It matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star, but now the ticket owner has missed their chance and the money is going to good causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said:

"We tried very hard to find the ticket-holder and it’s a real shame that they have missed out, but there is still one winner – the nation. This money, and all the interest earned over the 180 days, will now go to the Good Causes – adding to the £27 billion already raised and distributed to over 370,000 individual awards that have benefitted people, communities and projects across the UK."

£27 billion that has already been raised for the Good Causes through National Lottery ticket sales since it started in November 1994.
