Gene Wilder passed away at his home in Stamford, Connecticut, on Monday, surrounded by his family.
The two-time Oscar-winning actor, who was also famous for his roles in 'Young Frankenstein' and 'Blazing Saddles', reportedly ate had his favourite meal - a chicken dinner - before he slipped away to the sound of 'Over The Rainbow'.
His nephew, Jordan Walker-Pearlman said he "passed holding our hands with the same tenderness and love he exhibited as long as I can remember".

He added: "As our hands clutched and he performed one last breath, the music speaker, which was set to random, began to blare out one of his favorites: Ella Fitzgerald. She was singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow as he was taken away."
You'll always be remembered Gene!
