The cast of 'Downton Abbey' have been spotted filming some of their final scenes for the hit TV show in Oxfordshire.

Fans might be upset that this will be the sixth and final series of the award-winning programme, but stars Rob James-Collier and Brendan Coyle were all smiles as they arrived on location in Bampton, Oxfordshire.

The two actors, who play Thomas Barrow and John Bates, gave no sign they were finding it difficult to say goodbye to the roles as they mingled with extras.

Michelle Dockery and Allen Leech were also recently seen filming the last ever episode at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland.

If you're struggling to say goodbye after five years, then take heart that executive producer, Gareth Neame has said he is "very interested" in making a movie based on the TV show.

Could we be seeing a 'Downton Abbey' feature film soon?

'Downton Abbey' series six is set to return in September 2015.
