Cardiff Country Fair 2014

Cardiff Country Fair returns to the city centre this weekend to showcase the essence of rural Wales and celebrate the best of farming, food and the countryside.

The Country Fair is bringing the countryside to the heart of the city! You'll find an array of livestock and farm animals, including cows, sheep, goats and pigs. There's also the Cwtch Corner where younger visitors and get up close to rabbits and guinea pigs.

Along with the animals, the Best of the British Market Place will showcase local produce and celebrate the Harvest season, food and drink and live music for you to enjoy at the bandstand.

You can also get involved with Wellie Wanging, Cheese Skittles, Giant Jenga and more Country Games that will be played on the Castle Green. You'll also be able to take in Falconry displays, Lurchers, chicks and ducklings as well as ferret racing. With displays of modern and vintage tractors around the site and the NEW Children's 'Make and Do' craft area there is family fun in abundance.
