Candles Lit For Missing Schoolboy

A prayer service has been held in Carmarthen for missing schoolboy Cameron Comey.

The 11 year old was last seen near the River Towy on Tuesday afternoon, playing with his brother.

Reverend Leigh Richardson is the vicar at St Peter's Church in the town.

He said: "I think we've felt a sense of helplessness since this happnened.

"We've heard the helicopter hovering, we've known there's a search going on and we've not been able to get involved.

We wanted to do something tangible as a show of solidarity from the town - we would come together and show support for Cameron and his famiy and pray for hope."

More than a hundred people turned out at the church to say prayers and lay candles.
