Cheers From South Wales For NATO Jets
Thousands of people gathered in south Wales to see the official NATO flypast.
A convoy of military aircraft were greeted with cheers as they flew over Cardiff Bay l just before 9am.
Jets from nine different countries were involved, with fighters from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Denmark.
The RAF's largest aircraft - Voyager - was at the end of the fleet, which included a Typhoon, Polish Mig-29s, a Eurofighter and F-16 Falcons.
The Red Arrows followed, painting the sky red, white and blue.
The flypast marks the second and final day of the NATO Summit in Newport and was watched by world leaders from the 28 member states, including Barack Obama and David Cameron.
Children from Mount Stuart Primary School were treated to a view from the steps of the Senedd with First Minister Carwyn Jones and the Secretary of State for Wales.
Stephen Crabb said:
"This flypast serves as another reminder of how the Summit is putting Wales on the world stage, as people look up and see jets from nations across NATO fill the skies of South Wales".
People in Newport also saw the display 15 minutes after the Welsh capital.
The jets then went over the Celtic Manor.
