Man arrested after Rhyl death

Police have arrested a 47 year old man in Wolverhampton after the death of a pensioner.

Detectives were called to a house on Grange Road, Rhyl at 02.51 on Tuesday 8th February where they discovered the body of 89 year old Florence Hasbech.

During the afternoon officers from North Wales and West Midlands Police arrest a 47 year old man in Wolverhampton on suspicion of murder.

Detective Superintendent Wayne Jones said: "We offer our sincere condolences to the family at this difficult time.

"Police are appealing to anyone who may have been in the Grange Road area of Rhyl on Sunday and noticed anything suspicious to contact officers at North Wales Police on 101 (if in Wales) 0845 6071001 (Welsh language line) 0845 6071002 (English language line)."
