Search for missing woman 12 months on

North Wales police say they plan to search coastline in Gwynedd for a Flintshire grandmother who has now been missing for almost a year.

69-year-old Pauline Edwards from Buckley has a holiday home in Trefor on the Lleyn Peninsula and went missing there in February 2010.

Detectives are now planning to revisit the coastline there as they continue their search for her.

She was last seen on February 5th 2010 around 4pm.

Inspector Mark Armstrong, District Inspector for the area said:

"As we approach the first anniversary of Mrs Edwards' disappearance, I would ask all members of the public in the Trefor and Lleyn peninsular areas to think back to 12 months ago on the afternoon of Friday 5th February.

"We are asking for information from anyone in the Trefor area who saw a woman on her own walking near the sea on the headland above Trefor or near the pier.

"If you saw something that may help us confirm Mrs Edwards' movements on that day then we want to hear from you."

Mrs Edwards was last seen wearing a black long Boucle pattern cardigan, three quarter length black trousers and black boots.

She is described as 5ft 2in tall, of slim build and has collar length straight brown hair.
