Police appealing for information about a theft from the BP garage in Potters Bar have released CCTV stills of a man they would like to speak to in connection with it.

It happened at 11am on Monday February 7th. A man entered the BP shop and, by distracting the shop assistant, stole six scratch cards.

PC Graham Hiscock, investigating, said: “We are really keen to speak to the man in the footage or for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.

“We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to contact us.”

Anyone with information should call investigating officer PC Hiscock via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222, citing crime reference number J3/11/216. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers (an independent charity) anonymously on 0800 555111.
