Champagne theft: CCTV released
Police have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after bottles of champagne were stolen from a Bushey newsagent.
The theft happened at 5.40pm on Thursday 12 May 2011 when four men entered the JSA Claret news agent on Bushey High Street.
One had a dog to distract the shop owner. Another man then took a number of items from the fridge, including two bottles of champagne, and they left the shop.
PC Geoff Webb, who's investigating, said: "We are really keen to speak to the man in the footage or for anyone who recognises him to get in touch.
"We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to contact us."
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Webb via the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222 , quoting crime reference number J2/11/615. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 .
