Co-Op Alcohol Theft
Hertfordshire's police have released pictures of five men they want to trace after loads of champagne and whiskey was stolen from a Co-op in Harpenden.
A man went into the Southdown Co-op on Southdown Road at around 1.45pm on Wednesday 28 December 2011 and left the store with a number of bottles of spirits he hadn't paid for.
Over the next three hours, four other men entered the same store and also left with a large quantity of champagne and whiskey, which they made no attempt to pay for.
Investigating Officer PC Emma Collins said "We have carried out thorough enquiries and would now like to speak with these men in relation to the incidents. It may be that they were witness to the alleged crimes or can offer assistance in the investigation."
If you recognise these people or have any information about these incidents, you're asked to call Hertfordshire Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101.
Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. You do not have to give your name and you could be entitled to a cash reward.
