They launched the service today (Wednesday July 27th) with Mike Penning, Government Transport Minister and Hemel Hempstead MP.

The free to use EV charge points are being installed up and down the length of the UK at 27 motorway service stations.

This morning, the first one was unveiled at South Mimms Service Station in Hertfordshire.

Newport Pagnell Services on the M1 is due to get the charging points in the next two months.
