A search is underway for the person/people responsible for starting a fire at Watford FC last weekend.

It happened on Saturday (November 6th) in the men's toliets in the away stand, when the Hornets played Nottingham Forest.

Police say only a small amount of damange was caused by the incident and no-one was injured.

Detective Constable Veronica Reeve from the Local Crime Unit at Watford Police Station is investigating and said:

"This was a mindless act but thankfully no-one was injured. It is important we trace whoever is responsible and I would urge anyone who has any information about what happened or who is involved to contact police."

Anyone with information is asked to call DC Reeve on 0845 3300 222 quoting crime reference number C1/10/6260. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, an independent charity, on 0800 555 111. You do not have to give your name and could be entitled to a cash reward.
