Hunt For Stolen Falcon Statue

1 July 2011, 09:32

Police are hoping the picture of a concrete statue stolen in Harpenden will help them track down those who took it.

The ornamental falcon - which is two and a half feet tall - was removed from the top of a brick gate pillar at the entrance of an address in Cross Lane between 12pm on Friday 17 June 2011 and 10am on Saturday 18 June.

Police want anyone who was in the area between those times and saw anything suspicious, or who has any information which would assist their investigation, including the location of the stolen statue, to contact them.

You can contact Hertfordshire Constabulary on 0845 3300 222 quoting crime reference number F2/11/1009.  Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555111. You do not have to give your name and you could be entitled to a cash reward.
