New Year Honours

It isn't just famous people who have been recognised in the Queen's New Year's Honours list.

The chair of The Three Rivers Museum of Local History and a lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire are also among the people who have been awarded MBEs.

There is an OBE for Jehangir Sarosh from Watford, the President Emeritus of the European Chapter of the World Council on Religions For Peace.  That's for services to inter-faith relations.
