Police Hunt Estate Agent Thieves

Police have released CCTV pictures of two men they want to speak to after a mobile phone was stolen from an estate agent's desk.

It happened at Ashton Estate Agents on London Road just after 1pm on Tuesday 14 June 2011.

Two men entered the shop and asked the estate agent about a lettings list.  While she was distracted, the other man took the mobile from her desk.  The two men then left the shop, walking away from the city centre.

Hertfordshire Constabulary believe the two men in the pictures may be able to help their investigation.

PC Shaun Woods, investigating, said: "We are really keen to speak the men in the footage or for anyone who recognises them to get in touch.  We would also ask if anyone knows anything about the incident to contact us."

Anyone with information is asked to call investigating officer PC Woods on the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222, quoting crime reference number F1/11/2327. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
