Robbery Victim Left Shoeless

A man's been robbed after a night out in Berkhamsted with his wallet and shoes taken.

Hertfordshire Police say the 22 year old victim had been making his way home on Tuesday night when the attack happened.

He had been walking along Woodlands Avenue towards Hilltop and went down an alleyway when he was struck from behind and then repeatedly kicked and punched.

It's thought he lost consciousness in the attack and his wallet and shoes were taken.

Investigating DC Spencer Dicks said: 'This was a nasty robbery, which has left the victim with bruising to the side of his face, grazed knuckles and pain in his left knee. I would urge anyone who may have been in the Woodlands Avenue area prior to, or after the incident or who may have heard or seen anything to get in touch.'
