Two teenagers are due in court following the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Watford on Saturday 8th February.
Two teenagers have been charged after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in the back in Watford.
It happened on Saturday 8 February at around 4:50pm in a branch of Home Pizza on The Brow.
The boy was stabbed in the back and taken to Watford General Hospital for treatment. He was released the same day.
18-year-old David Cochrane of no fixed abode in Watford, has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article, two incidents of criminal damage and breach of bail conditions.
And a 17 year old boy from Watford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with section 18 grievous bodily harm, possession of a bladed article and breach of bail conditions.
The pair are due to appear in court this morning.
Chief Inspector for Watford Dave Wheatley, said: "Incidents of this nature are rare in Watford and we will not tolerate this form of behaviour in the town. Anyone found to behaving in this manner will be dealt with robustly by police.
"Investigations into this incident are on-going and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.
"We currently believe that the victim and suspects are known to each other and we believe this is down to an on-going dispute between the parties involved."
