A driver's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two pedestrians were left seriously hurt in Solihull.
West Midlands Police are waiting to question the teenager, who was taken to hospital after the car hit pedestrians and then a house in White House Way, Solihull, just before 3.10pm on Tuesday.
Officers said two men, aged 20 and 21, suffered internal injuries and multiple fractures and are in a serious condition in hospital.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old man has been treated and discharged from hospital.
Detective Sergeant Jim Bennett said: "The precise circumstances are still unclear but we believe the driver deliberately targeted the injured men with his vehicle.
"We are at an early stage in our investigation and I'd like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time, if they have not already spoken to the police, to come forward.
"The suspect is under arrest but at the moment is receiving treatment for his injuries. We will be speaking to him as soon as he is well enough.''
