Black Country Murder Investigtion
A murder inquiry is underway after a man was found dead in a flat in the West Midlands.
The 59-year-old was discovered by police who broke into the home in Forge Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands, on Friday night.
The alarm had been raised by a neighbour shortly after 7pm.
A 33-year-old man living in the same street was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody, detectives said.
Detective Inspector Martin Slevin, of West Midlands Police, said: ``We are still in the early stages of piecing together exactly what happened and would ask anyone with information to come forward and contact us.
``At this stage it appears the offence has happened inside the flat and a forensic post-mortem examination will take place in due course.''
