West Midlands Counter Terror Police have been granted more time to question a man on suspicion of terror offences.
Body Found In Walsall Is Missing Man
Police confirm body found in a park in Walsall is that of a man who went missing in August last year.
The body of 43-year-old Jason Whitehouse was discovered near to Sneyd book in Primley Avenue Park on 12 May.
He went missing in August 2014 after walking out of Walsall Manor Hospital while receiving treatment.
A post mortem carried out today was inconclusive, but revealed his death was not suspicious.
West Midlands Police say his death has been referred to the coroner.
A spokesperson said: "Jason’s family have been informed of the developments and are receiving support.
"Despite police enquiries and searches there were no confirmed sightings of Mr Whitehouse after he was reported missing."
