Could you bring the Olympic legacy to Telford?

Telford and Wrekin Council is looking for volunteers to become Sportmakers and help to contribute to the Olympic legacy.

A workshop for future Sportmakers is being held at the civic offices at 6:30pm on Tuesday September 18th, it'll provide anyone interested in the programme an insight into what is involved, the opportunity to access free training and ask any questions.

The Sportsmaker programme is aimed at encouraging people aged 16 and over to volunteer and get more people involved in sports and physical activity.

Anyone who wants to attend should contact Clive Knight, Telford and Wrekin Council Club/Volunteer (Sports) officer on 01952 382 889, email clive.knight@telford.gov.uk or CLICK HERE.
