Four Injured After Black Country Hit-And-Run
A boy and girl both aged three escaped serious injury when they were struck by a hit-and-run driver outside a school in the Black Country.
Police said the children were checked over in hospital along with two women who were also hit by a red Ford Focus C-Max in Stourbridge.
The incident, which happened in Hob Green Road shortly before 9am on Monday, was not connected to the school.
Issuing an appeal for witnesses, Sergeant Ross Treacy, from Dudley police, said: ``This could have been much more serious and we are working hard to trace the driver.
``I would also appeal directly to the driver to do the right thing and come forward.''
