A Worcestershire man has been jailed for a year for possessing indecent images of children.
Charles Cooper-Burge, 26, of Felix Baxter Drive, Kidderminster pleaded guilty to six counts of making an indecent image of a child and two counts of possessing an extreme pornographic image on May 22.
Heart's been told he was sentenced to the 12 month sentence at Worcester Crown Court on Friday 16 June.
A judge also placed him on the sex offenders' register for an indefinite period and given a sexual harm prevention order.
DC James Griffiths from West Mercia Police said: "Despite his guilty plea, Cooper-Burge has absolutely no regard for the suffering of the children in the images he downloaded.
"West Mercia Police and the Operation Safenet team are committed to tracking down and bringing to justice those who seek to obtain this kind of material."
