Mile in Memory

A Cannock family is holding a sponsored walk on Saturday 14 May, in memory of the baby boy, Kieran William Shore, they lost to cot death.

Mum Danielle Jones and dad John Shore have organised the Mile in Memory which will begin in Cannock Park, at 11am. There will be stall with jewellery, bookmarks, a raffle, refreshments and a chance to win two Happy Day Tickets for a day out.

The event is one of over 65 being held across the UK simultaneously, by supporters of the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths.

Danielle said: “My baby Kieran died suddenly and unexpectedly in November 2010, when he was just two months old.

“This walk is our way of paying tribute to him and other babies and to send the message out in this community about this silent killer and we hope as many people as possible will come along and join in."
