Snow Warning For West Midlands

Rain, sleet and snow are expected across the West Midlands overnight on Wednesday.

Commuters have been warned that the morning rush hour on Thursday could be disrupted by heavy rain, sleet and snow.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow across Central England from 8pm on Wednesday until 10am on Thursday.

A slow-moving band of wet weather that could turn into snow, potentially at lower levels, is expected to head south east through Wednesday.

Forecaster Mark Wilson said: "Motorists really need to be aware of the weather conditions as heavy rain and snow is expected in places so give extra time and stay up-to-date with the forecast and warnings.''

Conditions are expected to improve throughout Thursday with milder weather for most.
