Tribute To Dudley Lorry Driver
The family of a Dudley man who died in a crash on the M6 have paid tribute to him.
46-year-old Lee Smith, who was known as Andy, was killed when his lorry collided with another HGV in the Chelmsley Wood area on Tuesday.
His fiancée Jean has released this statement:
"Andy was a loving fiancée, father, granddad, brother and uncle to many. Everyone is in total shock to lose him in this way.
"He was the youngest of eight siblings, leaving five brothers, two sisters, three daughters, two sons and five granddaughters.
"We are all devastated to lose Andy in such shocking circumstances and it is something we will never get over."
He was only charged with the offence in 2001 last year
