Sky Ride returns to Coventry city centre and this year it’s bigger than ever.
Sky Ride Coventry is a fun, free big bike event taking place on Sunday 21st September. People of all ages and abilities are invited to ride safely together on traffic-free streets and take in some of the city’s most popular attractions and iconic landmarks like never before.
This year Sky Ride Coventry will officially start from Broadgate at 11am, but you can join in anywhere along the route until 3pm and ride as much or as little as you like. Enjoy cycling through the city while taking in Coventry’s famous cathedral, the Herbert Art Gallery and Coventry University. Plus don’t worry if you don’t have a bike. Adults’ and children’s bikes will be available to hire from the Hub in Broadgate and if you fancy something different, why not try our recumbent KMX Carts available in adult, teenage and children’s sizes. Both adult and children’s bicycles can be hired from the Hub on the day from £3 for 30 minutes and £5 for an hour. Additional adult only bike hire will also be available at the Market Place in University Square. However please arrives early to secure your bike and avoid disappointment.
There will be plenty of entertainment on the day too, both on and off the saddle. With the friendly Bike Cafe, a brand new ‘Sensory Tunnel ‘ and the ‘Tricks & Tunes’ area, Sky Ride is rolling out a real festival atmosphere – look out for more details over the next week at goskyride.com.
