World Record Attempt
With Team GB breaking records at the Olympic Games in Rio this year, Swindon are being called on to set their own world record for the number of participants in a Swiss Ball exercise class!
You can join Heart Breakfast's Ben Atkinson at David Lloyd Club, Swindon, on Saturday afternoon 1st October. This world recored was previously attempted back in 2014 and raised in excess of £10,000
To get your name in the record books simply visit ballsbounceback.co.uk and book your place on the team – you even get to keep your ball! Places are limited to 500 and whilst participants can take part for free we do ask as many as possible make the recommended donation of £10. All monies raised will be issued through Younite to three local good causes.
James Phipps, Trustee and the driving force behind the Younite Foundation said, “Younite trustees have selected three amazing causes to support with this years’ event including Jessie May, a Children’s Hospice at Home.
Working in Swindon since the turn of 2016 they are already supporting 22 local children and their families”. Jessie May will split the funds raised equally with Bios, a Swindon based youth work project and Melon Mission an outreach project supported by Swindon volunteers helping to build a school for orphans and destitute children.
