Training for the Swindon Half Marathon

Will you be running through Swindon on Sunday 12th October?

Taking on a half marathon requires gradual training over a reasonable period of time, getting your heart, lungs and muscles ready for the day itself.

If you think you have an underlying health problem which may prevent you from doing the training, please consult your doctor.

If you're a complete novice to running, you'll need to get a decent pair of shoes.

You'll need to know how to treat any injuries which you pick up, and be aware of your food and drink intake in the days before the race.

Running a half marathon is a challenge, but can be very rewarding, so best of luck if you're running in Swindon!
