Dog Attacks Man On Walk In Swindon

A man from Swindon has been telling Heart about when him and his dog were attacked by another dog.

It happened shortly before 8.15pm on Wednesday September 4th, when Police were contacted about a report of a man being bitten by a dog on a patch of grass behind Withering Road in Swindon.

26 year old Jordan Drury was walking his dog a caviler king charles spaniel when the incident happened.

Jordan was in hospital in Bristol for 3 days, they had to perform surgery on his left arm.

Heart speaks to Jordan Drury about dog attack

A Wiltshire police spokesperson said: 

'Wiltshire Police were contacted shortly before 8.15pm on September 4 to a report of a male being bitten by a dog on a patch of grass behind Withering Road, Swindon. 

'The victim has required significant medical treatment for injuries to his face and arm. The dog was alleged to have gone to attack the victim's dog when he intervened and was injured himself.

 'The dog is described as a white bulldog-type called Trigger and was being walked by a woman in her 30s with blonde hair. 

'Officers from the local Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted significant house-to-house enquiries in the area and will continue to investigate this incident. 

'Anyone with any information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.'
