E-Fit of Man Wanted in Cirencester

Police in Cirencester have released an image of the man they'd like to speak to in relation to an incident where a 12 year old schoolgirl was followed home.

On Thursday July 1 at approx 4.15pm, the girl was walking home from school along Cranhams Lane when she was approached by a man in a car.

The man asked the girl why she was walking alone and offered her a lift. The girl ignored him and continued on her journey. The man parked his vehicle on the opposite side of the road for a short while, remaining in the vehicle, before driving away. 

The man was described as being white, around 35-years-old, with short brown hair. He was wearing a black hooded top with ‘Adidas’ across the front. He was driving a small red hatchback.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 416 July 1. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
