As part of the new investigation into the death of Adrian Cooksey, officers have been revisiting CCTV images captured at the time of his death.

A CCTV image of a potential witness which detectives would like to speak has just been released. This image shows a man leaving the Tavern public house on the Market Place, Melksham at 0:37 am on Sunday 8th March 2009. The man is wearing a dark coloured jacket with a light top underneath, dark trousers and shoes.

The two other men in the image have been identified.

DS Rob Findlay said: ‘I would like to thank the public for their assistance with the investigation and make an appeal for the man pictured or anyone who recognises him to come forward. This man may have important information to help with our enquiries and we would very much like to speak to him.’

Anyone who has information is asked to please contact DS Findlay on 01380 734217 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 where information may be left anonymously if preferred.
