Swindon: Man Attacked By Gang

Police in Swindon are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by a group of men in the town on Friday.

It happened at around 8pm in Oakhurst, near to a children's play park on Voyager Drive. 

The victim, in his early 20's, was taken to the Great Western Hospital with a fractured arm and severe bruising to his back and shoulders.

A number of people were in the area at the time of the offence and the offenders were seen running from the scene, a vehicle was also seen driving away. 

Police would also like to speak to any one else who may have witnessed this attack or saw any suspicious activity in the area immediately before or after the incident. 

Witnesses are asked to contact 101 and ask for the Duty CID. They can also contact the police anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
