Big men shouldn't have small dogs...?
1st November: Poor Jez.
He's suffering real emotional turmoil at the moment. And it's all because of his dog.
Jez is a big guy. Weighing in at 15 stone and standing tall at a strapping 6ft, he's worried that his dog Daisy doesn't match his manly physique.
Personally, I don't know what he's talking about....
I think the sight of Jez with his "baby" is a cute one. It brings out his sensitive side. He looks, to me, like a man in touch with his emotions. Like one who doesn't care what people think of him.
The thing is, I'm not sure that's what he wants to hear.
Lisa wasn't quite so reassuring...
But there's a ray of hope for Jez from Kate, who's so taken by the sight of big guys with small dogs that she set up a blog called - wait for it - Big Guy Small Dog Blog .
Kate collects photos of blokes from her travels around the world and pops them up on her blog. (Not just any blokes I should add - just big ones with small dogs. Obviously.)
Seeing as Kate runs a whole blog about the subject, I thought she was the perfect person to have a chat with Jez about his small dog fears...
But possibly the biggest piece of evidence I found to dissuade Jez from the idea that big guys shouldn't have small dogs, was this bit of video footage of an tough American footballer called AJ Hawk. AJ is a proper man's man. Just check out those rippling muscles and that long rugged hair do.
Now tell me what dog you reckon he has.
That's right. It's a chihuahua. 'Nuff said.
