Proud or poser?
6th February 2013: I think we're all agreed that Becks has an impressive rack.
Most blokes can but dream of a torso like that; those rippling muscles, the defined contours of every line, the manly stance and strong shoulders... Sorry, got a bit carried away there.
But you know what I mean, right? He's fit.
So it's OK for him to put half naked pics of himself on his Facebook page, yeah? Well, maybe not. See, some people would say that no matter HOW bodylicious you are, it's NEVER alright to shout about it.
You know those people who take "selfies" all the time and paste them up all over Facebook and Twitter? That can get some people (mentioning no names *cough* Producer Carl *cough*) a bit riled. These people are branded as posers and run the very real risk of being defriended by the non-selfie loving gang.
Does Becks fall into that category though? If you have a REALLY good bod, isn't it OK to show it off? It could even be argued that he's doing a public service by sharing pics of himself in his pants. I mean, I'm sure there are quite a few people with a smile on their face because of it today.
I'm not sure where I stand on the selfie fence to be honest. Maybe the rule is that if you're a super famous celebrity you're allowed to swan about in your pants and stand around with a brooding look on your face, before sharing the photos with the world. Maybe there's an unwritten rule that anyone of less than A-list status isn't meant to do this, or they may find themselves the butt (no pun intended) of the joke amongst their Facebook friends.
Tell me the rules! What do you think? (PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT ASKING BECAUSE I HAVE ANY INTENTION OF POSTING UP PICS OF MYSELF IN MY PANTS. SERIOUSLY.)
