Facebook for the boss

19th October: A recent report about Facebook and employers has Jez and I a teensy bit scared.

Apparently it's becoming more and more common for potential employers to check up on job candidates via Facebook and Twitter. If they don't like what you're saying, you might not get the job.

And the three most common mistakes they say potential employees make on their Facebook page?

1) Posting about having an alcoholic drink

2) Making grammatical errors

3) Swearing - at all.

Now, is it just me, or is that pretty much the ENTIRE population of Facebook?! Imagine Facebook on a Friday night without all the, "Just having a cheeky glass of wine" status updates.

Doesn't bear thinking about really...

Facebook updates for a future boss

So what do you reckon? What would your Friday night Facebook update be if you were writing it for the boss to see?!
