I don't lie (honest)
12th September: The other day we were sitting around the office doing super busy radio work *cough* when our boss came out with a very probing question.
"When was the last time you told a lie and got away with it?" He asked.
Silence.
And then the admissions came tumbling forth from Jez's mouth. He couldn't help himself. It was like a regular Oprah session, with Jez sitting on the couch offloading all the white lies he's told recently.
One situation involved Jez producing a less than aromatic smell, and then letting his 8 year old son take the blame. And his wife was on the end of another white lie, this time about certain chick flicks being deleted off the Sky box.
But when it came to me, I was stumped. I honestly couldn't think of a situation recently where I've lied. And then I came to the conclusion that, actually, I don't lie at all. I'm rubbish at keeping secrets or telling half-truths. So does that mean I NEVER do it?
Well Jez had a way of finding out...
