This year’s big bad guy has been unveiled: Ra’s al Ghul is going to be the character that everyone loves to hate as Arrow continues on Sky 1 on Thursday at 8pm.

That’s right, Oliver Queen and friends are taking on Batman’s familiar foe in what is sure to be the superhero drama’s most epic chapter to date.

Look out for former Man of Steel Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), too, who swings by Starling City as businessman Ray Palmer aka The Atom – in the comics, he can shrink stuff.
